[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]Really like this.
Tiny Victories - Lost Weekend
Kind of obsessed this afternoon with the shimmering brilliance of this densely-packed smoke pipe of Brooklyn duo Greg Walters and Cason Kelly. Good from the first hit to the last.
Look for their upcoming Those of Us Still Alive EP, due out February 28th.

If you like your music moody, with guitars…
Horrible Present - Cloudy Talks
My guess is that ‘cloudy talks’ are ones that feel a bit gloomy, like the one you have when a lover who’s gone off to travel the world on her own and realizes that she no longer loves you, wants to be just friends, needs some freedom (…to date that French bloke she just met on the ferry boat in Ko Samui). As the shock of that news sinks in, the clouds gather and the sky fades. This video by video collective CakebyCake does a bang up job conveying that sort of moment.
Nab the track from their their fifty-four EP up on Bndcmp now. Don’t miss their other excellent video for, perhaps a complimentary sentiment-driven song “The Girl Who Found the World”.
